PRE-REGISTRATION IMPORTANT NOTICE

International students are required to obtain both financial and immigration compliant clearance prior to registering with the university.

Study Visa for Full-Time Studies including Special Exemption Permits
Work / Business Visa for Postgraduate Part-Time Studies
Relative/Spousal Visa with Endorsement for Studying as the Secondary Activity
Permanent Resident Visa
Formal Recognition of Refugee Status
Asylum Seeker Permit
Diplomatic Visa Holders
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Visitor’s Visa – Section 11 (1) (b)
Out Of Seat Clearance – Only Master’s Research and Doctoral Students
Comprehensive Medical Aid requirement

International compliance clearance will commence on Wednesday, 08 January 2025. You are therefore, urged to forward your request for international compliance clearance by e-mail to immigration@mandela.ac.za

In the subject of your request please make mention of your student number and then attach each document type individually e.g. passport page, visa, medical aid membership certificate/confirmation and Asylum/Refugee.
