Three Nelson Mandela University students have been selected to participate in the Technische Universitat Braunschweig (TU Braunschweig) International Summer School for German Language and Culture. The Summer School commences from 19 June – 28 July 2023, in Braunschweig, Germany.
Mandela University students applied for the partially covered scholarship offered by TU Braunschweig, which included accommodation, course tuition, and a food allowance. In its endeavour to promote student access and success, the Mandela International Office sponsored the three students with return flights to Germany.

The programme boasts an exciting theoretical experience, assisting the students in expanding their German language skills, as well as an exhilarating cultural and practical experience as the students meet other students from different parts of the globe.
The students depart from Gqeberha on 16 June 2023 and are set to arrive in Braunschweig on 17 June 2023. The Mandela International Office is excited to be able to facilitate another group’s participation in the (TU Braunschweig) International Summer School for German Language and Culture. Six students from Mandela University received a fully funded scholarship to participate in the same programme in 2022.
