It has been a busy start of the year for the Office for International Education of Nelson Mandela University. From 22nd January to 8th February, Nelson Mandela University welcomed Degree Seeking as well as Study Abroad students from all over the world wanting to study at our esteemed university.

The Office for International Education (OIE) of Nelson Mandela University welcomed its first short program participants 2018 onto its campus on 3 January, which consisted of 17 students and 2 staff members from the University of Wisconsin – Greenbay in the United States of America (USA). Even though the staff members were looking forward to returning to Port Elizabeth after they have visited the University before, it was a first for all the students and they could not wait to experience what South Africa has to offer.

A new publication that captures the growth, developments and major changes at Nelson Mandela University over the past decade is now available.

The 64-page publication includes an overview, the progress made around our key strategic priorities, other highlights, and key insights on the way forward, ostensibly capturing the legacy of former Vice-Chancellor Prof Derrick Swartz.
